What is our PURPOSE on the water this year?

Sometimes God puts someone in your path who moves you to your core and ignites a passion you never knew you had. For our crew, that catalyst was Bill Redmon—an avid Rotarian whose lifelong dedication to service inspired us to step up for a cause we knew nothing about.

For 5 years running, Paddlers with a Purpose has rallied together for StirringWaters. While our Voyageur canoe fleet is taking on an exciting new stretch of water this Halloween—the beautiful Winter Haven Chain of Lakes—our core mission remains unchanged: we paddle so no one is left on the deck.

Why We Paddle: The P.U.R.P.O.S.E. Acronym

• O – Opportunity: Opening doors for children and adults with disabilities to experience inclusive community spaces.

• S – Service: Embracing the Rotarian ethos of serving others and bringing peace through active community support.

• E – Empowerment: Turning ground-breaking mode into reality so every splash empowers a life.
