I am the youngest of five children, a mother of four, and a grandmother of five. Family has always been an important part of my life, and I believe everyone deserves opportunities to experience joy, love, and belonging.

As a Florida Co-Director of Camp Joy, I have the privilege of watching our VIPs experience a week at Lake Aurora where they are loved, accepted, and reminded of the love of Christ. Camp Joy believes every camper should have the opportunity to participate, regardless of ability—and that is why StirringWaters means so much to me.

I look forward to the day when our Camp Joy VIPs can come to Lake Aurora and experience the joy of StirringWaters during their week at camp—a place intentionally designed for people with disabilities and their families to enjoy the water together.
