Water has always been an important part of my life. I have spent much of my life on or around the water, including time serving as a lifeguard. I cannot imagine never having the opportunity to experience the freedom, excitement, and joy that the water can bring.

That is why I am paddling for StirringWaters—an aquatic recreation destination being intentionally designed so people with disabilities and their families can experience the water together.
