Team Captain Cindy is paddling for the third consecutive year to help get StirringWaters to the starting line. "I'm paddling in memory of my Uncle Harvey who became partially paralyzed when he fell from a tree as a young boy. Life forever changed for Harvey and his entire family."

Wave Makers is a metaphor for change that can be brought about by disruptive determination or through peaceful persistence.

This team of Wave Makers is all about positivity and peaceful persistence. We are paddling to bring about acceptance and joy for people and families living with disabilities, differences and special needs at StirringWaters.

Every stroke by each paddler makes a small swirl on the water's surface. When the individual swirls unite with everyone else's, they create a wave that propels the team forward toward its goal. Wave Makers is making waves to get people off the deck and into the fun!
